Why we’re not your usual

When we created TalentSmiths we adopted an approach that saw us work with both active and non-active PAs in London. In short, we built long-term relationships with the best PAs who know and trust us. Traditional agencies take your vacancy and try to find the right person. In 2018, 78% of the Candidates we worked with didn’t apply to a PA job. They like our approach and it benefits everyone. What we do

Absoloute dedication to finding the right person, not a person who can ‘do the job’ but a person who fits for you. When you recruit a PA, it’s unlike most normal recruitment. They are a highly trusted individual who has to work well with their Principal. You can be a great PA but not the right ‘fit’ and it will never work as well as it should. Fit is everything.



Invest

PA Recruitment shouldn’t be reactive, so we work when we don’t need to. We meet candidates and develop ideas never seen in our market before. The best PAs like it, which is why we do it.



We can’t be all things to all people, so we partner with Clients and PAs selectively. Our ethos is clear, but it requires commitment from all sides.

Job boards are a great way to find people searching for a job today. In fact, they can be brilliant. But if your ideal hire isn’t actually looking today then usual agencies can’t find them. We can.

We listen

What you think you need and what you actually need may be different. That’s OK because recruiting an Assistant is a very unique process and it’s what we’re good at, so by listening to you we can make better suggestions.

Focus on long-term

We dislike parts of our industry. Agencies promising things they can never deliver, they lose credibility and trade on previous success. We don’t. If we can’t help you, we’ll tell you and make suggestions to help.
