Who? What?
In 2019 we began to explore the possibility of using what is now known as Bots to help us make the process for Candidates easier, less intrusive and quicker. Organising telephone calls to go through basic information seems pre-historic.
As an agency we have to always ask basic level questions; notice period, salary requirements, desired location. As a PA you’re rarely away from your desk or out of contact from your Principal so reducing the 15-20 minutes you have to invest to go through ‘basics’ seemed a good place to start.
Our Vision
PAloma is our resident, and constantly underdevelopment, resource that links directly into our system, allowing you to answer basic starting point questions on the train on the way home or at 3am in the morning if you can’t sleep. It also handles all diary and meeting requests to ensure we can work around your schedule and availability. Our vision is that you’ll have to spend less time listening to voicemails and more time making progress on your search.

This is PAloma v1.0, it’s not perfect, but it’s learning. We’ve added AI so that the technology can help you even more. It’s learning about certain types of language and explanations. Critically and based upon your answers, PAloma will even know the right time to hand you over to our team of actual humans.
